Daily events
On the Square: Covered Bridge Festival
Headquarters is on the Rockville Square. Arts, crafts, Farmers'
Market and food. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pick up free
Covered Bridge Tour Maps and Location Maps on the square, at
the tourist center and other locations throughout the county.
Covered Bridge Bus Tours: Tours leave from the north side
of the Rockville Square. Weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., weekends
8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., twilight tours. Tickets $8, under age 12
$5, lapsitters free. Tickets available at the tour booth on the
north side of the square. Choose from one of three routes with
covered bridges, arts and crafts, food, fun and fall foliage.
Groups welcome; call (765) 569-5226 to schedule.
Parke Players Melodrama at the Ritz: Tickets $6, on the
square or at the door of the Ritz Theater, just off the square.

Parke County Historical Museum: Open daily from 9 a.m.
to 5 p.m. Three blocks west of the square on U.S. 36. See Parke
County history. Donation $1.
Also available: Arts and crafts; country cooked food,
relax in the Pepsi Hospitality Tent; Parke County Winchester
Rifle Raffle, tickets on the square, proceeds to covered bridge
repair; Covered Bridge Art Gallery, view and purchase the works
of Parke County artists daily, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Billie Creek Village - turn-of-the-century village, see
schedule.
Bloomingdale - Historic Quaker community invites you to
tour the meeting house, old-style services on Sunday.
Bridgeton - 1868 covered bridge and grist mill, shop for
arts and crafts, food. Bridgeton Baptist Church Hospitality Tent
open all 10 days. See schedule for musical entertainment.
Mansfield - Daily grinding demonstrations and walk-through
tours at the Mansfield Roller Mill; covered bridge; shopping.
Mecca - one-room school in session, covered bridge, crafts.
Montezuma - Whole hog roast, arts & crafts, car show.
Rockville - Arts & crafts, country food, shops, gallery.
Rosedale - quality crafts, antiques, flea market and good
food all at the Florida Township Civic Center.
Tangier - Scenic beauty and famous "buried roast
beef."

Saturday
10 a.m. - Mecca homecoming parade, honoring the class of 1950.
11 a.m. - Mecca alumni Duck Race on Raccoon Creek.
4-6 p.m. - Mecca alumni dinner.
9 p.m.-1 a.m. - Mecca homecoming dance, Mecca Community Center.
4 and 8 p.m. - Melodrama by the Parke Players, "Deadwood
