Welcome to the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival!
For more than 40 years visitors have come from all over the world to join in a celebration of Parke County's heritage, its history and, most of all, those 32 world famous covered bridges. It's a grand event filled width food, fun, festivities for the whole family -- all served with a big helping of Hoosier hospitality.
Begin your visit at Festival Headquarters on the Rockville square. It's just 25 miles north of Terre Haute on U.S. 41. You'll find selected arts and crafts demonstrated by costumed vendors; jams and hams; caramel apples and country cooking done outside over an open fire.
All Covered Bridge tours begin here either by bus or in your own car. Be sure and take time to visit all nine festival communities, each one with its own unique character.
So plan to start early and stay late to enjoy every minute of the last of Indiana's golden days of autumn. Don't miss it -- it's Indiana's greatest festival!
